To our Not Monday family,
In such a profound time in our lives, it can be difficult to know what to say. So over the past week, we decided to take a step back and listen instead. We paused our marketing efforts to allow space for the voices of activists and leaders in the Black community to be heard. We stand with them and send our love and compassion to all who are hurting right now.
We recognize that now is a time for introspection followed by change. As a brand, we understand our actions have influence and that we have a responsibility to be part of the fight against social injustice. We have started the process of looking inward at our organization to identify ways we can improve our messaging of inclusion and common humanity.
This is a long term commitment, but as a start we are implementing the following right away:
